A CTR Champion

"A CTR champion is a person who makes a great human out of himself."

-Noemi Trigueros

A real champion is a CTR person. This can be in sports as well. If a player always chooses the right while playing the game, then they are the real champions. A player who wins the championship but never chose the right isn't a real champion. This has been seen many times when an athlete uses steroids. When they take steroids they are not real champions.

"Goal setting is goal getting. Set and get."

-Mark Victor Hansen

When you set a goal for yourself you are basically saying that you are going to achieve that goal. When you set a goal you are saying that you're going to do something. An example of this could be with school. You can set a goal that says that you want to be a straight A student and if you actually believe it, then you will be a straight A student. So when you set a goal you get a goal, set and get. Another example could be with a race. If you want to be the fastest one and win first place you must set that goal. But, you can't just set goals and expect to accomplish them with no effort. you must try your hardest to complete your goals.

Columbus Day

Christopher Columbus was an Italian explorer. He was born in 1451. He found America in 1492. He started his volage with 3 ships. The 3 ships consisted of The Nina, The pinta, and The Santa Maria. Columbus was trying to find a shorter route to India and he found himself in America. He also landed on South America and other countries near by, but discovering America is what he's best known for.

We celebrate Columbus day because Christopher Columbus discovered America on that day we celebrate it on.

Obedience

"when obedience becomes our goal, it is no longer an irritation; instead of a stumbling block, it becomes a building block."

-James E. Faust

When we decide that we want to be obedient, it won't be a problem because it will now be a foundation to your success. We usually do things without thinking about being obedient, but when you focus on being obedient you're going to be helping yourself because obedience is the gateway to success. An example of this could be school. If you just decide to be obedient in school and not goof around you will be a great and successful student. Another example could be in a sport. When you are obedient to your coach you will become a amazing athlete.
