Always

“Right is right, even if everyone is against it; and wrong is wrong even if everyone is for it.”
-William Penn
This quote by William Penn is a very true statement. Right is always right and wrong is always wrong. An example of this can be when you are on the freeway. Just because everyone else is going 10 miles above the speed limit, that doesn't make it right. Another example of this can be to not fall to peer pressure. All of your friends might think that it is “cool” to smoke and do drugs, but just because everyone thinks that it doesn’t make it right. This quote should be told to everyone so they could know to always choose the right.

Don't Sacrifice

"Don't sacrifice what you want most for what you want now. Write down what you want most and see it often."

-Peter Vidmar
This quote by Peter Vidmar is saying that you shouldn't sacrifice what you most desire for what you want now. An example of this can be with passing a test. You might want to get a 100% on your test but you also might want to go hang out with your friends at the park. You shouldn't sacrifice not getting a 100% just to go go hang out with your friends. He also said to write down what you most desire and to see it often. He means to write down your goals and read it every day. The more you see it the better the chances of you completing your goal get. Peter wrote down his goal which was to be in the olympics and he read that to himself every day and because of that and how hard he tried and his determination is why his dream came true.

Homecoming

Homecoming is an annual tradition in the US. It usually occurs in September or October. It is when people, towns, high schools, and colleges come together.
Homecoming started with a football game between between the Kansas Jayhawks and the Missouri Tigers. They played a game and tied, then after that they had a spirit rally then they had a bonfire which made it a huge success. Then after that everyone across the country started to do the same which created homecoming.
We celebrate homecoming at our school just to keep up the tradition which started over 100 years ago.
Some of the events that take place during homecoming are pep rallies, then there is the football game, and after that there is the homecoming dance.
It is called the homecoming game because when the Kansas Jayhawks and the Missouri Tigers had their game the Missouri Tigers told the Kansas Jayhawks to “come home”.

A Good Name

“A good name is better than anything you can achieve in this life”
-Mike krzyzewski

This quote said by coach K is truly remarkable. He says that it is better to have a good name than any achievements you have. An example can be during any sort of competition. It is better to win fair and square than to people know you as the cheater. So, it is better to lose with a good name than to win with a bad one.

Global Opportunities

One country i would like to go to work in while in the medical field would be Jamica. I chose this country be cause it looks like a great country with a whole different society than the USA. I would like to work as a pharmacist while in that country. I would choose to be a pharmacist there because a pharmacist job seems less stressful than to be a heart surgeon.

The second country i would like to work in while being in the medical career would be Germany. I choose Germany because i have always wanted to go there. I would work as a pediatrics. I chose this career because it just seems like something simple to do and i won’t stress over it.

Choosing a good name

“A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches.”
Proverbs 22:1

What this quote is saying is that it is better to have people see you as a good person other than to be rich. An example of this could be when you are in school. If you choose to have a good name everyone will admire you and want to be your friend and respect you. But, if you choose riches over a good name no one will want to be around you because they know you are not a good person. If you don’t have a good name you don’t deserve the riches. Another example can be when you're applying to college. If they see that you don’t have a good name then they most likely won't want you in their school because of your bad name ad reputation. When you have a good name you will eventually get riches, but you will still need to have a good name or else you may lose it all.
