Never

“You can’t be right by doing wrong; you can’t be wrong by doing right.”
-Thomas S Monson

This quote said by Mr. Monson is truly remarkable. He speaks the truth when he says you can never be right by doing wrong. An example of this can be cheating on a test. If you cheat on your test and pass it you are still failing because you are a cheater. Your lies will eventually catch up to you and you will fail. But, you can’t be wrong by doing what is right. Another example of this can be telling on your friend. It might seem like a bad thing to do since they are your friends, but they can get hurt by doing wrong.

Enthusiasm

“Enthusiasm makes the difference.”
-Dr. Norman Vincent Peale
Enthusiasm is the thing that makes the difference. If you are not enthusiastic about a certain subject then, you will do poorly in that subject.Enthusiasm is well needed to do your best at anything. An example of this is the tiger and donkey from “Winnie The Pooh”.The tigger is always hyper and having fun while the donkey is always seems gloomy and never happy. So as -Dr. Norman Vincent Peale said, “Enthusiasm makes the difference.”

-Dean Smith

As his quote says he wasn’t in it just to win every game, he was just trying to be an outstanding person. An example of this can be with anything. You don’t have to worry about being the best at something, you just have to worry about being a great person.

Body-Mind-Spirit

“Take responsibility for YOUR OWN body, mind, and spirit, for your own physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.”
-Mr. C. S. Haymore
This quote said none other than Mr. Haymore is a quote to live by. You should always take responsibility for yourself. You should take care of your body and health because, at the end of the day it all matters on how you are and what happened to get there. If you do not take responsibilities for your actions and your well being then you will go down a bad rout.

Intelligence plus character

“Intelligence is not enough. Intelligence plus character, that is the goal of true education.”
-Martin Luther King, Jr.
Martin Luther King, Jr. had a point. If we are intelligent people we still need to be great people in order to be CTR people. An example of this can be seen at a college. Many people you see in a college are very smart but many of them do not have character.  Intelligence and character go hand to hand like a bike. You can compare a bikes wheels to intelligence and character. If you are missing one than the bike won’t go.

Start, Continue, Stop

“We need the courage to START and CONTINUE  what we should do, and the courage to STOP what we shouldn’t do.”
-Richard L. Evans

This quote by Richard L. Evans is important to know and follow. If we don't continue to do the good things that we do, then things can go bad because you are no longer doing what is right. Also, if we don’t stop the things that we shouldn’t do then we will not live a CTR life. An example of this can be with doing homework. We should all start and continue to do our homework and choose to not give up on it. Another example can be with smoking. We need the courage to not smoke because it will drive you to an early grave.

School Break Days

School Break Days

My Winter break was great. I got to see my cousins and uncles. I went to the San Fernando Valley to visit family. I also went to go eat at McDonalds with my cousins. I played video games when I had spare time. I didn’t have any homework other than my Goals journal to do which was great. I also watched TV shows and movies on Netflix with my cousins. I spent Christmas at my cousin's house.  I got $100, a $25 gift card, and a wallet from my brother. For New Years I spent it at home. I didn’t really do anything that day. I was on youtube a lot on my phone. I slept over at my cousin's house a few times. He got a new dog which is fun to play with because she is very energetic.
