This quote means that you can only get somewhere in life when you choose the right. Choosing the right also includes working smart, working hard, and working together. An example of this could be during your college years. If you choose the right then you will surely graduate and have a successful life. If someone were to choose the wrong then their chances of being successful drop. 

ENT

Duties and Responsibilities: An ear, nose, and throat specialist (ENT) is a physician trained in the medical and surgical treatment of the ears, nose, throat, and related structures of the head and neck. They have special expertise in managing diseases of the ear, nose, and nasal passage sinuses, larynx oral cavity and upper pharynx as well as structures of the neck and face. ENT is the oldest medical specialty in the United States.

Salary; $291,000-$400,000

Education: Graduating from medical school. Scoring high or exams  

Demand for this profession:  To become an ENT doctor, you will begin by pursuing the traditional route to and through medical school. Score well on the MCAT and earn a high undergraduate GPA, especially in the core science courses of biology, general chemistry, organic chemistry, and physics.

Obediece is Central

This quote by David Bednar means that to be happy you need to be obedient. Without obedience you will never be truly happy. If you are not obedient than you will never be happy. When you are obedient you might get certain privileges from your parents and you will be able to do stuff that they didn't let you do before and you will be happy. When you are obedient you are choosing the right, and it is always right to choose the right. 

LAUSD Student Services

Some LAUSD services which students can take part in include food drives, music programs, sport programs, blood drives, etc. These programs can let students take part in activities that they wouldn't have access to outside of school. These activities such as sport programs can help students be more physically active and help the be healthier. These services can also help out the community. Such as the can food drive. This service helps students be CTR people and they can help out the community by donating food to people who can't afford it.

Choosing The Right

This quote was said by a former student. He didn't always choose the right, but when he started to, he noticed that he was doing better. He noticed that people started being nicer to him. His grades started to improve. This quote is basically explaining itself. Choosing the right thing is always the right thing to do. It is always the right to choose the right. Not choosing the right isn't the right thing to do. An example of this can be doing your homework. When you do your homework you are getting practice on what your doing and it will help your education and it will also get you credit in your class. Doing your homework is the right thing to do. 

Dermatologist

Duties and Responsibility: A dermatologist refer patients to other specialist, as needed. They keep records of a patient's health history.  They provide dermatologic consultation to other health professionals. They recommend diagnostic tests based on patients’ histories and physical examination findings.  They evaluate patients to determine eligibility for cosmetic procedures such as liposuction, laser resurfacing, and microdermabrasion.

Salary: $272,000-$370,000

Education: A dermatologist needs to take 12 years of education and training.

John wooden was one of the greatest basketball coach to ever live. He knew it was more important to be a CTR person than a winner. He almost never spoke about winning, he spoke about being a good person. His team was almost always undefeated. His team won lots of championships. He was inducted into the NBA hall of fame for being a basketball player and for being a coach. He knew that it was more important to be a good person than to be a great player.

Physical Therapist

Duties and Responsibilities: Physical Therapist are health care professionals who diagnose and treat individuals of all ages, from newborns to the very oldest, who have medical problems or other health-related conditions that limit their abilities to move and perform functional activities in their daily lives. Provide care for people in a variety of setting, including hospitals, private practices, outpatients clinics, home health agencies, schools, sports and fitness facilities, work settings, and nursing homes.

Salary: $74,900-$87,000

Education: A Physical Therapist needs a DPT degree. DPT programs usually last 3 years. Most programs require a bachelor's degree.

Demands for this particular career: State licensure is required in each state in which a physical therapist practiced.

Reflection: I would like to have this job because it seems pretty simple and the pay is good. I would like to help people in this way so they can have all the mobility they need.

Dental Assistant

Duties and Responsibilities: Dental assistants perform many task, ranging from providing patient care and taking x rays to recordkeeping and scheduling appointments. Their duties vary by state and by the dentists’ offices where they work.

Salary: $22,000-$44,000

Education: It takes a relatively short period of time to become a dental assistant. Dental assistants receive their formal education through academic programs at community colleges, vocational schools, technical institutes, universities, or dental schools. Graduates of these programs usually receive certificates.

Feel Right

This quote to me means that you can never feel good after doing something bad. Even if you think you feel good, you really don't. It is impossible to feel good after doing something bad. An example of this can be if you lie. You might lie to your parents and you feel bad knowing you did. You may think that you feel good but deep inside you know you feel bad for doing bad. I remember once my mom asked me if i did my homework and i told her no. I felt bad for lying to her. That's an example that shows that "you cannot do wrong and feel right. It's impossible." and it is true that it is impossible to feel good after doing wrong. 

Dentist

Duties and Responsibilities: They are responsible for removing tooth decay, filling cavities, repairing cracks or fractured teeth and remove teeth. They also straighten teeth. They write prescriptions for antibiotics or other medications. A dentist will also examine x rays of teeth, gums, jaws, and near by areas for problems.

Salary: $128,000-$168,000

Education: Some dentist choose to study a subspecialty, such as orthodontics. Most dentist obtain an undergraduate degree before completing a four-year dental program and earning a doctoral degree in dental medicine or dental surgery.

I wouldn’t want to be a dentist. This is because I wouldn’t want to be cleaning other people's teeth. I find that pretty disgusting. Some people might have clean teeth but I know others will have nasty dirty teeth and I wouldn’t want to deal with that.

When you do what's right, you feel proud of what you have done. But, when you do something bad, you well feel bad . An example of this could be when you lie to someone you will feel bad for not telling them the truth. Yet, when you choose the right you well feel good. If you do something bad and blame it on someone, you will feel bad because they would get in trouble because you lied. If you tell the truth about something you did you will feel good getting it off your chest. Also, when you tell the truth you will be trusted more because people will know that you are honest.

Chiropractor

Duties and Responsibilities: Chiropractors are health care providers who work with patients dealing with problems related to bones , muscles, ligaments and tendons. They usually work either in private practice or in health care clinics or facilities.

Salary: $118,500-$192,300

Education: It takes 4 years of training to be a doctor of chiropractic, 2 years of basic science are required.

Reflection: I don’t really think i would like to have this career as my profession. It’s because i wouldn't want to be a doctor like this.

Boyd K. Packer

This quote means that the more we obey then the more freedom we get. An example of this could be that if you're obedient to your parents, then they'll cut you some slack and let you do things they wouldn't let you do if you are not obedient. If someone isn't obedient then they might be harsher on him or her so they will listen, but if they listen then they might give them a break. 

9/11 Memorials

On September 11, 2001, a series of four coordinated terrorist attacks by the Islamic terrorist group al-Qaeda on the United States of the morning of September 11, 2001. 2,996 people were killed during the attacks and over 6,000 others were injured. It caused at least $10 billion in property and infrastructure damage and $3 trillion in total cost. 4 planes headed for California were hijacked by 19 al-Qaeda terrorist. 2 of those planes were used to crash into the North and South towers, known as the world trade center. Within an hour and 42 minutes, both 110-story towers collapsed. Another plane was crashed into the pentagon, leading to the collapse of the building's western side. The fourth plane was headed to Washington D.C., but crashed into a field in Stonycreek Township near Shanksville, Pennsylvania. It was the deadliest incident for firefighters and law enforcement officers in th3e history of the United States, with 343 and 72 killed respectfully. my first real memory about this was in 2nd grade, when it was the anniversary of the attacks.

When Thomas S. Monson was a little boy, him and his friend wanted to make a fire. So they went to a grassy area to make a fire. There were lots of weeds so they decided to pull them out. They pulled a lot out but they still hadn't pulled enough out. They kept tugging and pulling with all their energy but they just couldn't pull them all out. So Thomas had an idea to burn the weeds so they could be done with them. So he went back home and took some matches. He lit the match and tossed it into the grass. Him and his friend only expected the fire to burn the grass they wanted burned and then it would stop, but they were wrong. The fire kept burning more and more so they decided to call for help. Their neighbors came out and started to put the fire out and they eventually did. The lesson Thomas learned was "Obedience is the great test of life."

This quote is means that you are always being tested to see if you obey. An example of this could be the law. If you break the law and not obeying them then it shows that you are a rule breaker and may not be trusted. Rules are just tests to see if you can obey them. If your parents tell you not to do something and you do it anyways they see that you are not responsible. So basicly every action you do is kind of a test because it shows what kind of person you are. 

Education

This quote to me means that education is the key to success. The better your education is then the more successful you are likely to be. This is why most people who go to college are successful because they choose to continue their education.
